Workout Data

When using SetSocial Fitness, we collect information including:

• Exercises performed
• Sets
• Repetitions
• Weight lifted
• Workout duration
• Rest periods
• Personal records
• Workout completion history
• AI coaching interactions

Connected Health Services

If you choose to connect supported third-party services (such as WHOOP or Oura), we may receive information including:

• Recovery metrics
• Sleep metrics
• Heart rate data
• Readiness scores
• Activity data

We only access data that you explicitly authorize.

Location Data ("Check In")

SetSocial's "Check In" feature requests a single, one-time read of your device's location only at the moment you tap "Check In." We never request continuous or background location access, and we never ask for "Always" location permission — location is read once, in the foreground, and only when you initiate a check-in.

• Your coordinates at the moment of check-in are stored so we can determine which other checked-in athletes are nearby. We keep only your current, active check-in — there is no location history, and checking in again overwrites your previous check-in.
• Check-ins expire automatically a few hours after you check in, or immediately if you tap "Check Out."
• Your exact coordinates are never shared with other users, shown on a map, or exposed through the app in any form. Other users can only see that you are checked in nearby (within a short radius) and an approximate distance — never your address or precise location.
• Users you've blocked are excluded from your nearby list, and you are excluded from theirs.
• We use your check-in location solely to calculate proximity for the "Check In" and "At My Gym" features. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose, and it is not shared with third parties.
• You can decline location access, or revoke it later in your device Settings. The Check In and At My Gym features will simply be unavailable — no other part of the app is affected.

Device Information

We may automatically collect:

• Device model
• Operating system
• App version
• Crash reports
• Diagnostic information
• IP address
• Anonymous usage analytics

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the app
• Create your account
• Save workout history
• Display progress over time
• Power AI coaching features
• Recommend workouts
• Determine nearby checked-in athletes for the "At My Gym" feature, using your check-in location as described above
• Improve app performance
• Respond to support requests
• Detect fraud and abuse
• Maintain app security
• Send important account notifications

We do not sell your personal information.

Social Features

SetSocial includes optional social features.

If you choose to share content, other users may be able to view:

• Username
• Profile picture
• Workout activity
• Progress photos
• Before-and-after photos
• Posts you choose to publish

You control what content you make public.

Photos and posts marked as private are not visible to other users.

If you use "Check In," other checked-in athletes nearby can see that you're checked in and an approximate distance to you — never your exact location. See "Location Data" above for details.

You can block another user at any time. Blocking removes you from each other's nearby check-in list and prevents further contact within the app.

AI Features

SetSocial may use artificial intelligence to provide:

• Workout recommendations
• Exercise suggestions
• Training insights
• Performance summaries

AI-generated content is intended for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical or fitness advice.

Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party providers, including services for:

• Authentication
• Cloud storage
• Analytics
• Crash reporting
• Payment processing (if applicable)
• Connected fitness platforms

These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services.

Data Retention

We retain your information while your account remains active or as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your account at any time.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
